The Ecology and People’s Lives of the Valasai Novel

Abstract

Every creator has a uniqueness in bringing out the actions, personality, and consciousness of the people who conceive the problems of the people and live in the midst of them. Creators who care about the society conceive the ideas derived from that society and make them into stories. Nowadays, literary forms such as short stories and novels excel in expressing contemporary life. In particular, the novel presents the problem and the consequences of it and the social changes. S. Venugopal’s novel Valasai is about the ecology of forests and the lives of the people living there. The purpose of this paper is to explain them.
