Abstract

The beauty of the tamil language lies in its various dialects. ‘Karisal’ literature speaks about the life in Karisal region was kovilpatti, in Tamilnadu. In order to enjoy the Karisal literature, we have to understand the dialect spoken there. Ki. Rajanarayanan’s regional dialect dictionary of Karisal region, lishten our patu in our journel through Karisal literature.
