Abstract

In the Sangam literature, we can compare the poems of helplessness with psychological messages to understand the compassion, sufferings and poverty of the poets. When the hearts of the people lose hope, the nature of death appears. In the event of loss of pleasure, the instinct swells. In songs like Natrinai and Pathiruppathu, psychological messages can be seen in a helpless manner. In Purananuru songs, we are able to learn many more psychological messages such as social psychology, mental psychology, empathy, egoism, etc
