Social Reformers in Ponneelan’s Novel

Abstract

Society is made up of people. Due to some social factors the Status of people differ from person to person. When those differences were begin to persecute the people, social reformers raise and guide the people how to control the inequality. Novelist Ponneelan shows the social reformers in his Novel namely ‘Pichi Poo’. The social reformers are Mr.Meet Iyer, Marshal Nesamani, Aiya Vaigundar. They act one of the character of the novel and shows how they guide people to fight against social inequality in the novel. So their social war known by the future generation. This is also the writer’s justice and the victory of him. This article proves the writer’s justice from Ponneelan’s Novel namely ‘Pichi Poo’.
