Abstract

The eyes are the preliminary organ that could see all the good and bad happenings in the world. But this organ would not take all the happenings in the same manner. While seeing good things it appears happy mood, while seeing bad things it appears sad mood. Eyes know to smile and cry. That is why eyes are considered very important in our face. Tamil scholars and poets also have written about eyes in various ways and dimensions in their work. Eyes prove the proverb that ‘face is an index of the mind’.
