Abstract

In today’s society, the social values of men and women are different. From time to time it is seen that the man has the authority and the woman is subservient to him. A girl has to depend on her father during her childhood. This society has created a structure that the same woman should live dependent on her husband after her marriage and then depend on her son in her old age and men use women according to their likes and dislikes in family, economy, politics and sex. They believe that man is not created for woman but woman is created for man and if man is efficient in everything and woman should live with qualities like modesty, peace, ignorance and submissiveness. Such a practice has been attributed to the patriarchal society for years.
