Abstract

The worship of the Dargah of the Muslims is based on the folk religion. The research paper deals with the worship and the views expressed by the scholars on the worship of the Dargah, the views of the scholars on the Itarha, the dargahs in Kanyakumari district and the fulfillment of the vows of the people in the dargahs based on the information obtained from the study. The findings of this paper are summarized in the summary.
